Tembea Futures Institute Stakeholders' Roundtable Meeting

Unveiling the 2024-2028 Tembea Strategic Plan: a visionary roadmap that charts the course for Tembea over the next five years.

Introduction

Tembea Futures Institute, a spinoff of Tembea Youth Centre for Sustainable Development, is a social enterprise committed to safeguarding the environment while championing social and economic justice. Tembea stands as a testament to the power of grassroots innovation in confronting the multifaceted challenges of our time. Through a holistic approach, Tembea tackles climate change, employing innovative strategies to mitigate its effects and promoting sustainable living practices within communities across Siaya and neighbouring counties.

Tembea extends beyond environmentalism, recognising that true justice encompasses social and economic equality for all. With a keen focus on uplifting marginalised populations, Tembea empowers individuals and communities to break the cycle of poverty and inequality through educational opportunities, economic empowerment programs, and advocacy for equitable policies.
