Ir. Buoga, Jared Omondi is the Founding Director of Tembea Futures Institute and Tembea Youth Centre for Sustainable Development, leading efforts in climate change governance, natural resource management, and sustainable development. Under his leadership, Tembea has grown into a pioneering institution championing community-driven solutions for environmental resilience, social transformation, and economic empowerment. 

With over 15 years of expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and natural resource management, he has spearheaded innovative programs that integrate geospatial technology into climate adaptation, conflict resolution, and sustainable livelihoods. His vision for Tembea Futures Institute is rooted in empowering communities, strengthening resilience, and advancing evidence-based policies for a sustainable future. 

Ir. Buoga has provided consultancy services for EU-funded projects and global rangelands initiatives and continues to drive strategic partnerships that enhance grassroots development and institutional growth. His leadership ensures Tembea remains a catalyst for change, inspiring sustainable solutions in Kenya and beyond.
